Jeremiah Ginsberg

Producer, Composer, Lyricist, Orchestrator, Co-Book Writer

Born in New Haven, CT, graduated from UCONN and New York Law School, is a retired attorney, composer and jazz musician from his youth. Since 1982, Jeremiah Ginsberg (Book, Music & Lyrics) and Wendy Ginsberg (Co-Writer) have written and produced for the stage four original musicals based on the Biblical text.

Wendy Ginsberg

Producer, Co-Book Writer

Graduated from the University of California at Berkeley, returned to Los Angeles, studied acting with Charles Conrad, Winifred Keithly and Milton Katselas, appeared in “Funny Lady,” “Kojak,” print and commercials, was a script reader at 20th Century Fox, and began writing spec screenplays before meeting her husband at an audition for “Rabboni.”

Bradford May

Director, Cinematographer

Bradford has Director and Cinematographer credits on over 100 films and television movies and episodes during a career that spans over 50 years. Known for his work on The Monster Squad, Groomzilla, Cloudy With A Chance Of Love, When Duty Calls and Love At First Bite, Bradford directed the film version of Mendel’s Messiah. Additionally, Bradford won a Primetime Emmy Award for Lady Against The Odds.

Darrin Newhardt

Music Director, Keyboardist

Darrin is an accomplished Music Director, Conductor, Pianist, Orchestrator and is an expert at composing underscoring of dialogue, dance arranging and play-out music. During the pandemic, Darrin became experienced conducting Zoom rehearsals for various musical productions. As a composer, Darrin’s music can be heard in various films, TV episodes and theater productions. Darrin is also the Music Director at St. Andrews Episcopal Church. He rounds out his musical endeavors teaching private voice and piano lessons. Some credits include, Music Director, “Into The Woods,” The Actor’s Co-Op, Los Angeles, Drama-Logue Award. Music Director, “Mendel & Moses,” by Jeremiah & Wendy Ginsberg, Century City Playhouse and The Canon Theatre, Beverly Hills, CA. Drama-Logue Critic’s Choice, Best Music Award from Backstage West. Guest Conductor, Cypress Pops Symphony and the Crystal Cathedral Orchestra.

Tracy Christensen

Costume Designer

Tracy designed the costumes in New York City on “Sweeney Todd” starring Emma Thompson and Bryn Terfel with the New York Philharmonic; “Company,” directed by Lonny Price, starring Patti Lupone; “Seussical, the Musical;” “Shrek, The Musical;” and costume touches on “Esther, Sweet Esther” and “Rabboni – Behind The Scenes Video.”

Carolyn Paddock

Choreography

Graduate of Point Park University, Carolyn is featured in 3 films in the NYC Library’s Dance Collection. Choreography credits include “The Time of Mendel’s Trouble” (Beckett Theatre), “Mendel & Moses” (Royalty Theatre), “Esther, Sweet Esther” (Presidential Inaugural Prayer Breakfast & Maranatha Church in 2013, The National Press Club in 2017 and The Trump International Hotel in 2018), Miss America Pageant (Miami), Ballet Theatre of Miami, “Godspell” (Boca Raton), “Beauty & The Beast” (Boca Raton), and the USO. Produced & choreographed shows for Royal Caribbean, and Corporate Events for AT&T, General Motors, Lipton Tennis Tournament & The U.S. House of Representatives.

George Monteiro

Video Producer

George is an accomplished Writer, Director and Producer. His credits include the films Sisters of Vengeance, Shark Whisperer, Highway To Hell, Infidel the Movie, Johanna And The Whale as well as documentaries and commercials. Additionally, he is an expert in underwater videography. Learn more.

Kirk Baker

Music Editor

Kirk obtained his Bachelor of Music degree from University of Miami and Master’s from University of Michigan. A former Dallas Symphony musician, he recorded many CD’s with the orchestra. Kirk performed in three of the Ginsbergs’ musicals, “Mendel & Moses” at the MJAA Conference in 2006, “The Time of Mendel’s Trouble” at The Beckett Theatre off-Broadway in New York City and “Esther, Sweet Esther” at Maranatha Church in Paramus, NJ. Kirk is Cantor & Torah Service Leader at Eitz Chaim Messianic Synagogue in Dallas, TX.
